ERA 170M, 2017: "Mode Switch" vs. "Disconnector"?

there are two devices under the passenger seat in a 170M. One is the 'Mode Relay", one is the "Disconnector".

My understanding is the Disconnector is what connects the House and cab batteries when you press that "start boost" button, but those two circuits on are on mode relay only.

What do these devices do?
