Quick question for those who have newer Winnebago/Itasca coaches with the pop up TV's in the lounge (the ones that raise up out of the credenza): Can those be up (and on) while driving or is there an electronic restriction of some type that requires the engine be off for that TV to be used?
That is a good question and I do not have the answer but I am pretty sure they will work while driving. If I think of it I will give it a try and get back to you.

Our Journey 34Y is basically the same floor plan as your 33C. I have not tried it, but during the walk through the tech talked about watching TV while traveling with the In-Motion satellite system, so I would assume it will work OK.

So go raise the tv, turn on the engine and see what happens. Let us know. The question I would have is is how sturdy is the base of the tv. Would it handle a set of bumps going over railroad tracks at speed? If looking for tv do you have an in motion sat setup or the low profile antenna that can handle being up while in motion?

On my 37F tw will watch the satellite on the pop up tv while i'm driving. So far no issues. It is behind the drivers seat so it is not affected by the law that a driver cannot watch it while driving.
So it sounds like there's nothing stopping the TV from coming up and working while driving, but I agree that it does seem like it might be tough on the mechanism and mount over time......
