Where it was - it is your converter charger and it is mounted in an enclosed space you can't see behind or very near your box with the fuses and circuit breakers within it.
Where I read it - you can't. It does not have any status panel. You will have to install a product like the Victron BMP-700 Battery Monitor with a shunt that goes between the battery bank negative connection and everything else. It then reads the exact current going in or out of your batteries and the exact voltage. It keeps track of exactly how much power is stored in the batteries. Good stuff.
If you have this you can tell your converter charger or solar charger went into float charge mode as the charging current flowing into the batteries will drop to only about 1-2 amps which is small enough to avoid causing the battery electrolyte decomposing into hydrogen gas and oxygen gas AKA "boiling" water out of the batteries.
