Advice on fishing sat. wires
I want to relocate my TV mid ship in MH . My question is there any dead space between the ceiling of MH and roof ?
Has anyone had to do this and how much trouble is it ?

scooterbob, no dead space in the ceiling solid styrofoam except for the cooling ducts and small wire ways that are cut in the foam. Easiest to go under the coach.

Can you run them on top of the roof and use the entry point from your existing satellite entry point? This a pretty common way I have seen over the years.

I did exactly that when I installed my Traveler. My electronics cabinet is mid-ship in the bedroom cabinetry and I wanted the control unit to be in the small electronic cabinet up front just above the door. So I just ran the control cable across the roof, tied it down with clamps (drilled into the roof) at several points, and then drilled a hole directly over the front electronic cabinet. Covered all tie downs and entry points with self-leveling dicor and has worked just fine for the past three years.

Do you have basement air, if so, then you have ceiling air ducts, which is one way to run the wiring.

The wiring for my Motostat Dish Antenna was ran over the roof in 2007 and hasn't leaked any. There is a boot made for covering the hole in the roof that would make it even safer. I used the A/C ducts to run the power cord and thermostat wire for the roof air I added this summer. Just be ready for a lot of Styrofoam mess. The inside of the coach looked like a snow globe the first time I turned the air on...

Yes I have ceiling air ducks. There is a coax now running to rear TV, if The coax was not fastened, I could fish the new 2 coax cables and use the old coax as a cord to pull it through, need to check that.

Yes, all you have to do to hold them in place is use what ever is an approved caulk/sealant for you roof every couple of feet to hold the wires in place and keep the wind from blowing them.

Roof is generally the prefered route.
My cables installation for the Trav'ler satellite dish still look good but if I need to, I'll cover all the entrances and exits of the cable with Eternabond.

If I can't pull the coax using the old coax as a pull than I will run them on the top..
Thanks all for the advise.

Have you considered running the water along the top of the wall (where the wall meets the ceiling) and then covering with a small cove molding?
