38J dining light

I am replacing all bulbs with LED and need help with the dining light. It is a wedge base. Not sure which to replace it with. Anyone done this change and can give me a number?

I replaced mine with bulbs I got from my "friend" in China. They work great and draw around 10% of what the old bulbs did with just as much light and warm white to boot! I'll try to find the link for them.

Make sure that you order "BA15D" bulbs. These are the dual contacts and you have to be sure they are put in the right way. If they don't work at first, pull them out and turn 180 degrees.

Thanks a bunch. That is exactly what I needed.
I have all the changeover done but dining and map lights. I have been monitoring the amp draw change and it is amazing. I have to turn on almost all overheads before my L1 and L2 inputs will even see the change.

The BA15D is a dual contact bayonet. My dining light takes a wedge base.

These look like what I am looking for. I searched "wedge base led 12vdc".

Hmm, they must have changed from '05 to '08. Mine uses the BA15D.
I used the little boards with multiple LED's on them with the adapters for my overhead and under counter lights. They really put the light out! Replaced the 2 1156 bulbs with 2 24 or 36 LED boards for only around $3.50 each light!

I suspect there was a change from 05 to 08. I went with strips in the overheads and undercounter. We are on full hookup til October, then gonna see just how much these swaps were worth.
