2008 W Vectra headlight

Trying to change driver side headlight as is burned out. Looks like a couple of clips and it should pull out, but it won’t move. Suggestions and/or directions please before I do something dumb and try to force it. Thanks. Joel

I can't remember if I've had to change either of my bulbs, but just in case you ever need to replace the fixture it comes from a 2002-2005 Mercury Mountaineer.

If I recall correctly - 2 metal clips each side - pull up and clips come all the way out - then the whole assembly slides forward out through the front.
It's dark now or I'd go look again - but I'm nearly positive that it was 2 long metal strip-shaped things that fit in a grooved slow.

Headlight removal - with photo

I took a photo this afternoon, and it is attached.
I've circled the two upright 'clips' in the photograph; both pull straight up and out on our 2004 (and I believe that the 2008 is identical).
The headlight assembly pulls out of the front of the coach once the clips are removed. Replacement is the opposite - they sort of slide and snap in to place.
Hope this helps...if not, let me know and I can try again.

That's a very interesting observation. How did you figure that out? I never thought of it before, but now I presume other models also used headlights from "regular" production vehicles. Is there a cross-reference anywhere?

What headlights were used on a 2003 Itasca Sunrise, for instance?

Vectra taillights should be Corvette from around 2003/2004.

Thanks Chris.
Not sure the tail lights are the same as a vette though.
I will take better photo later in the week but this is taken from the brochure for 08 Vectra 40TD.

Sorry, my mistake--I didn't realize they'd switched the Vectra taillights in later years! The 2004 & 2005 Vectras did have the Corvette taillights. 2005 Vectra Brochure.
