2000 Itasca Suncruser Batteries?

Is there anyone with my rig that has 6 volt batteries? If so did you have to modify the battery box? Do you just have two?

I have a 2002 Itasca Suncruiser 35U and two Costco Trojan 6v batteries fit without modification, except for some changes to the hold-down brackets. Since the battery post locations will be different, make sure that no metal hold-down parts can come in contact with the battery posts. I would think your's would be similar. I was able to use the pre-existing wiring, including the cable connecting the two batteries.

To be safe, you can take a few measurements before buying the batteries.

It would be helpful if you added the year and model of your rig to your signature so we don't have to search for it (see mine, below).
