12 volt breakers

I want to kill the power to one 12 volt circuit without turning off the battery disconnect swith which kills power to the whole coach.
Is there any way, short of a ground, to turn off one of the "button" breakers?

Pull the fuse from the 12v fuse panel.

I haven't figured out how to do it easily. I suppose you could unscrew the panel and unplug a wire from the breaker. They probably use a spade lug.

You would probably have to remove the panel and install a toggle switch. Most Winnebago's I have worked on use screw connections on all their breakers and very few fuses.

Just a one time deal but I thought it would be nice to temporately kill a circuit to do testing, mods, etc. i was adding something to a circuit and wanted to kil the power while I worked on it.

Any time you force a breaker off there is a (slim) chance it will fail to function properly. Your best bet in my mind would be to disconnect either the batteries or lift the feed wire from the breaker.
Reason I asked was you might want to look at a system that you can find in boats. They have a switch in series with a breaker.
