A lot of that difference is the chassis, tire size, etc. How much of that difference is IFS, I dont know.

I've had one Itasca, three Newmars and one Tiffin.......The last four had IFS. I really like it! It would be a deal breaker for me.....

It is not the ride but the driving and handling that IMHO is the difference.

I have not seen the 2010 coaches but without the IFS the generator can not be slid out the front of coach for service on previous models. The normal service of oil, filter, coolant and air filter from bottom but the water pump or belt the 500 lbs unit has to be dropped out the bottom of the coach. So without IFS and side radiator many service items are just more difficult to access resulting in more costly service bills!

Thanks for that info, Ken. That's important info in order to make an informed decision.

The more I read about changes and downgraded features in newer coaches, the happier I am with our 2006 built 2007 Meridian. The pre 2007 Cat C7 has been a dream of an engine. The ride is great. We like the 3rd slide out in the 09 and 10 34 footers would be nice to have but not at the expense of some of the other features like the 6 speed allison.
