Wiper goes off the windshield Drivers Side.

Wiper falls off the drivers side and sticks there until I get out and push it back.
I thought I found the problem but it happened again. So if there is a fix for this, I'm all for it as it's getting annoying. All the linkage is good. Motor is fine. Drivers wiper is tight. So is the passenger's. Driver Bars are not bent. (Had them both off to inspect). Is it just a poor design? I just don't understand why they can work fine and then all of a sudden go off the windshield. I think this is a Winnebago item.

It sounds like the arm on the shaft is shifting. If it's tight, the shaft might be stripped. It might take replacement of the arm or shaft if all other linkage is good.

OK! Thanks for the tip. I think they know it's a problem on some of the coaches. Very frustrating having it over travel in the rain. Had this happen in Houston last year in a heavy heavy downpour. But, we made it as the windshield seems to shed the water so you can see. I thought I fixed it but I didn't.
Did you have to get a new part? Or is it just an adjustment?

Our wipers just went too slow for the wide sweep combined with heavy rain.

Full application with Rain-X and I don't use wipers anymore. Great stuff.

This might solve your problems until Winnebago solves the wipers' problems.

I have used it before and it does work well. Winnebago should have a fix for this and when I get back home I'll call them..
