When I purchased my 2005 Voyage I questioned why clear sealer was on the top edge of the rubber that goes around the windshield. I was told that it was common practice and the rubber was only cosmetic. That didn't make sense and after 2 years of a problem leak, I believe that's where it's coming from.So does anyone have clear sealer on the top edge of the windshield rubber or was this a fix for a known problem?

No sealer on my MH windshield, and it sure sounds like a 'previous repair' to me...

I would go back and inquire further with the dealer and if possible contact the previous owner(s).

Thanks for the replies. This was a new purchase, no previous owners.I'll give it another shot with the dealer, but I'll probably end up taking it to get the windshield reseal. The warranty has expired, however this leak problem was from day one. Now it only happens when driving when raining. Not a bad leak, but then again any leak isn't good.
