Weep hole covers

Greetings fellow RV-ers,
I have a quick question. We have a 2015 Itasca Suncruiser that needs a few weep hole covers. Does anyone know the model number of the ones we need? They are bullet shaped on the leading edge and are about 4" long. They keep falling off. I've tried using a small drop of silicone to hold them in place. Apparently I need nascar approved silicone. Lol thanks for any help. Bruce

Contact parts at Lichtsinn. They should be able to help.

You should know that there are left and right versions of the weep hole covers.

Also, I ran a small strip of regular clear silicone along the length of both the top and bottom edges, snapped them in place, and haven't had any troubles since. That was probably 30000 miles ago.

Thanks for the info. I believe this explains why I'm loosing them. I'm sure the dealer is putting the wrong ones on. I have noticed that the small prongs on a couple of the covers on the passenger side face forward instead of backwards. Once they jiggle loose the wind blows them right off. I'll be check each one and attaching them in a more secure manor.

I remove our weep hole covers for traveling and just put black electrical tape over the holes. When we park for an extended period, I remove the tape and put the covers back on. This Dramatically reduces wind noise while we are on the road.

I purchased mine at Winnebagoparts.com. If you give Winnebagoparts.com your VIN and serial number they can look up and find the exact orginal part for your RV.

Safe travels. JD

This is a good idea. I have replaced about five in a few thousand miles. I'm currently missing one. When the rain stops I will add silicone. Thanks for the tip.

Safe travels. JD

Here's where I bought my spares :

RV Segi Weep Hole Cover Right Hand Left Hand 1 Set 6162 02 6162 01 New | eBay

That's a set with a R & L side for under 6 bucks with free shipping.
BTW, I use a little bit of 3M weatherstrip adhesive to hold them on.
