water pump switch 2000 minnie
I cannot find my original post and all replies... Here is my update:
I took everyones advice and spent hours on different sites trying to find a compatable switch. I bought one from Di..gi key, but it did not work. I was a 3 prong switch, but only worked as ON - ON. I needed ON - OFF. When I called them back, they could not seem to find one that did that, and insisted the once I had should work.
I did call all the Winnebago places and no one had one, so to make a long story short, the guy working on the problem simply used the one I bought and wired it direct to the water pump. Only difference now is that there is that the light does not go on, and unless the switch inside is on, the outside wet bay wont work. Not a big deal. The new switch fits in the same spot, but is white. I don't care. It works.
It was a bit frustrating to hear on the waiting message at Winnebago if I needed a tank for an 86 Chief, they had it. Not a .99 switch though. Thanks for all the help.
