Water damage-Rear window
I am a new owner of a 2009 31 Access. It is very clean and dry, but just noticed something I overlooked when I purchased it. Last week during heavy rain, the rear window was leaking quite a bit. It appears that it had been leaking for a while because the wood just above the window is a little soft and below the window (behind the mattress) has ripples in the wall covering. I actually cut an inch long slit in the covering to let some water out. I stopped the leak, but my question is: Do I fix the wall or leave it alone? A repair shop said it wouldn't get any worse as long as I stopped the leak. Is this true? I can live with the way it looks as long as it doesn't get worse. Just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing. Thanks!!
