We had this problem on our 2007 Sightseer and we had to adjust the door so it closed tighter.

The post that the door locked onto was adjustable on ours. Loosen it and adjust it so the door closes as tight as you can make it.

Until we did this all the lube in the world won't get rid of the squeak.

Hope this helps.

My solution was

Get some 3/4" shrink tubing and cut it about 3/4" long. Slip it over the latch pin and then shrink it in place with a hair dryer. Be sure and shield your other seals with a piece of cardboard when applying heat. Doesn't however take much heat to get it to shrink into place. Works great, and easy fix.
