I did a search and was unable to find anything related to repairing the slide topper. The drivers side is starting to tear and some of the laminate is coming off and I was wondering if there is a tape or something available to repair it until such time I can get it replaced?
Thank you,
Bob

Both of my slide toppers delaminated at the forward edges. They were replaced under warranty. Mine is a 03 you don't say what year yours is but maybe they had some bad fabric.
Contact Dometicusa.com see what they have to say...Good Miles

My LR topper was starting to tear at the front edge also. When I looked closely, I could see the fabric was thin and about shot. Previous owner spent three winters in Florida so I guess that did it. Had both slide topper's replaced (fabric only) for $330 installed. They were custom made and a lot heavier than OEM...also put nice 1" double thick seam on the edges.

Ichn2go,
I have a 2005 Adventurer, so I guess it still under warranty. When I had a 02 Chieftain, I went to Forest City as the bedroom slide topper was tearing and was told it was not under any type of warranty and had to pay to have it replaced.
I will check out the website and see what they say. Free is good, however biting the bullet and paying for a better product as smlranger did might be the way to go.
Did either of you use any type of tape before the repairs were made?
Thanks again,
Bob

No I didn't use any type of tape. If its still under warranty I would check with Winnie first and follow their directions. Good Luck

By all means do as Ichn2go says. He is right.

IF - you have to do something and want to do a quick fix until you can do it right - go to a West Marine and get some Sail Tape. You can get it in clear, white and several other colors. Follow the directions and it will hold until you can get it fixed properly.
