Most common cause of slide creep (in or out) is a failing solenoid at the manifold. Since your slide/s are held in position by hydraulic pressure, any leak could cause creep. If you have any obvious fluid leaks at a hose fitting, that might be the problem. If the solenoid that holds the slide in the outward position is failing, it will let the slide creep in.

Another possible cause is an internal leak in the hydraulic cylinder (ram) that pushes/pulls the slide.

If you are able to do some troubleshooting, suggest you call HWH and one of the techs will walk you through some tests to help diagnose the problem.

My slide was creeping in and I called HWH and was told that it was the solenoid that controls the slide moving out that was leaking. I ordered a solenoid from HWH, replaced it and it doesn't creep any more. Hope this helps.

I would like to revive this thread with a question about slides creeping in. The universal answer for this problem seems to be replace the offending solenoid. In my case I have replace both extend and retract solenoids and the kitchen slide continues to creep in while parked. Is there a check valve in the system that would allow this to happen? I emailed HWH service with the same question about a week ago....no reply yet.

I understand the leaky cylinder and solenoid. BUT in addition to the kitchen slide (large front slide) creeping it also raises about 1/2 inch on the rear roller as it starts in and travels about 1 inch. I have looked, the best you can with a flashlight, while bringing it in/out and can't see what it is trying to jump over. Have pulled down the rubber seal from the outside and the roller is still attached to the bottom of the slide and I can't see any obstacles in front of the roller. It sounds like it is catching on something but the raising and dropping back down has me baffled.Factory says there is sonething in the way. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
