Should be an easy fix...

I noticed that one of the sensors for the fresh water tank has fallen off the tank. Anyone here know what the sealant on the back of the sensor is specifically? Looks like it could be some sort of clear sealant, or maybe some sort of double-sided clear tape.

What can I use to affix the sensor without impeding the conductivity?

Thank you. -RT

Maybe call to the manufacturer?...I would be interested to know also.....I noticed my sensors are actually a little close together and I knew what to use I could actually move them apart and get a better reading.

Since I don't have a Winnebago/Itasca dealer anywhere in remotely close to me, is there something in the after-market world that would work? The shipping fee on smaller items is three times the cost of the part.

Thank you. -RT

I called Winnebago and they didn't have an after-market tape that they could recommend. I was told that it was double-sided tape (a 'pad') and I doubt Winnebago has a lock on that product, so I'll look around and in a worse-case scenario, order it from Winnebago when I have a few things I need to order to make it worth my wild. Paying $13 in shipping fees for a $3 part makes me feel I can wait. -RT

Sorry for the confusion but that was a # given to me by the Winne tech line rep. I had similar problems with the sensors The company that supplied the sensors to Winnebago on my coach is Mirus, the website is www.touchsensor.com they tell me a 3M product is used called VHB foam tape it is able to withstand the expansion and contraction of the tanks as they are filled, the web site has more info.
