Here are a few pictures from Disney's Fort Wilderness.
Our campsite in loop 1800.
Our site at night.
The kids out on the exercise trail between the campground and the Lodge next door.

We were in the 1800 loop last October. Near the Comfort Station, next to the Newell from Texas that was still there a week or two ago, still there? They checked in just before Halloween.
When did the kids figure out the whole surprise? I forget if you had broken down and told them or not...

Shannone;
Thanks for the pictures. I hope you and your family have a great time. You picked a good week to be gone. The weather up here is terrible for this time of year. Stay where you are until it warms up.

I'm jealous.
My MH is still in winter storage. We are to get 3-4 inches of wet snow tonight.
Have a good time in the warm weather and enjoy your vacation.

Great pictures. We are going down in for the entire first week of December. This will be our first trip to Ft. Wilderness. Since you were just there with kids (ours will be 8 and 13) what loops would you recommend? We have reserved a premium site. I think it would be nice to be near the trading post, resteraunt and marina area. Any thoughts?

Now I've really got cabin fever! The pictures are great, looks like a nice place to be! We just took our motorhome out of storage last weekend and now the weatherman says we will get 5"-7" of snow tonight and tomorrow! All I can do about it is enjoy posts like yours, thanks for the pictures, they are the pic me upper that I need right now!

I think it just depends on what you plan on doing. Are you bringing a pet ?? Do you really need cable ?? Will you be spending much time at the Fort (swimming, boating,horseback riding, etc) or will you mostly be away from it ?? Some people like the loops close to the marina because they can walk to the settlement area and marina and they don't need a golf cart. We preferred to be in a quieter area and have the golf cart to drive around. We really enjoy exploring the whole campground..especially at night when everyone has their lights on

I would rather have the cold than all the rain we have had today Too wet and damp to do much today and forecast is not looking good for next two days. Please send us some dry skies vibes...any temp would be better than this !!
