A BlueLine brand with push-on fittings should work. I have used them for 3 years and never had a problem with them.

Never had that problem... But the Tetford Smart Hose has an adapter that goes inside the compartment then the hose (3") comes up through the hole and locks into the fitting,, NOTE.. I had the devils own time getting them to lock the first time (And I do it differently(

What I do. 5" clear extension puts the hose end UNDER the RV, and a 30 or 45 degree elbow (Also clear but no need for it to be) at that point makes it easier to connect. But then I have the clearance for that.

(Some of the hose ends are bigger)

Advantage: The clear pipe means I know 100% when the tank is empty and by the way, it is not as gross as it sounds watching it.

I have used the Camco Rhinoflex hose. You have to be patient when trying to get the discharge end in and out of the coach opening on my 2013 Sunstar but it can be done.

What do you have for a rig? I don't know of any Winne product that the standard hose will not work on.

Time to add a Macerator; one of the best modifications I've done. Checkout emptythetanks.com

it would be nice if we knew the make/model/year of coach. Some years, like ours, an '04 Itasca Horizon 36GD with the C-7 330HP CAT, has a "trap door" that hinges down and lets both the sewer hose and, the garden hose enter the compartment and still allows for the closing of the compartment door. It makes for real quick and easy connect and disconnecting of the sewer hose and storing them.

I think I've seen threads on this before. If I had this problem, to me, it would be simple. Cut the hole larger so that you'd have no issues with clearance for sewer hoses, ANY VERSION OR TYPE, and, then fabricate a "swinging flap" as a door for it. You could even put a little handle on it for easy opening and closing. You could use a piece of hose as a grommet/seal for the flap. Just an idea.

Yep, that's what I've used for many years on our Dutch Star. I have broken a couple fittings but they still held till I could buy new ones.

I solved a similar problem by enlarging the hole in the bottom of my wet bay and using larger deck plate. Very simple, relatively inexpensive solution.

Here's a source: Amazon.com : Screw Out Deck Plate - Available in Various Sizes and Colors : Boat Vents And Deck Plates : Sports & Outdoors

Take care,
Stu

Artgpo is correct! The Rhino hose will fit thru. On the discharge end. You just have to get used to it... And fiddle a little...
