When I was connected to shore power it was pulling the usual 24-28 amps when running from the generator it was just pulling 14-18 amps.
Thats when I started to investigate just what is the problem.

bobpie, OK this is getting interesting. I'm looking at the drawing again I may be wrong in my thinking. What is the model number and manufacture of your transfer switch?

bobpie, OK I was wrong!! When on 30 amps there is a 20 amp breaker that feeds back to the transfer switch to feed the #2 compressor. So back to your original problem.
Your are going to have to check the AC voltages at the transfer with the generator running. Sorry for the going in the wrong direction.

bobpie, OK one more thing I just thought of, I don't think the current for the #2 compressor will show up on the EMS when running the generator. The EMS measures the current flowing through the neutral wire in the breaker panel. When running the generator the #2 compressor is feed directly from the generator.

Yes, I found that out when I was trying to figure out why the #2 compressor didn't show up on the EMS Amp readout.

About 20 sec after the #1 compressor kicks in, listen for the #2 compressor to kick in.

I don't have my transfer switch info handy right now,
My EMS readout does show when my second comperssor kicks in, it always did, thats how I determined I was having a problem. I though that my generator, which has 1000 running hrs. on it now was in need of service.
After investigating thats when I found out that the circut #2 was not getting power supplied to it so it was not reading higher amps on the EMS, and my AC air temp output was not 50 degrees any more.
Thank you all for your thoughts. This has been very interesting.

bobpie, Looks like WBGO changed manufacture of the transfer switch sometime in 2001 and the older one would show amps for both A/C when running the generator. If this is the case you have to use 2001 for AC drawing and 2000 for AC installation.

yep, just my luck.

My coach is titled as a 2001. It was manufactured June through Aug 2000.

Jumper wires in the transfer switch, that explains it.

OH BOY.
