Roof Vent Repair

My WD1780 has an automatic roof vent (I can raise and lower it with an electronic switch) which won't stay closed. I can still raise and lower it with the motor, but when it's lowered and I drive, it pops back open.

The trailer is currently in storage so I was wondering if anyone had any pointers for what I should look at when I go check it out to figure out what's wrong. The motor seems to be fine, I'm guessing I'll find a pin or something snapped but I've never looked at it.
