Replace stock window interior shades

I have a 2000 MWinnie.

It has the:

DAY/NIGHTER PLEATED WINDOW
SHADES
Your coach may feature two-stage pleated
window shades

Anyone here replaced those with a simpler yet functional shades?

Yes. I replaced mine with M.C.D. day/night shades.

Got the link or model no u used? I looked at their site earlier.

Was it just a shade or blinds?

Did it attach to the exiting valance that is ALREADY attached to the walls or did you screw the MCD into the RV walls with included screws?

Also, was there much assembly required? I bght some blinds from Walley World but lots of assembly.

Winnebago installs shades with screws up through the shade base into the bottom of the overhead cabinets. The MCD shades are mounted in the same manner.

Correct. I just noticed that after u said it.

These are in the bedroom so they'll have to attach to the existing valence or into the wall.

I noticed the MCD asks for dimensions of the valence so may go that way.

Someone at another RV site said you can order whatever size and type at HD.

Ha!...you don't know my little rescued Border Collie. She hammered 2-shades and the valences..the little rascal....my fault tho,...leaving her in there when I drove the RV. Anyways, it's a thing...I don't get mad loosing a thing.....well unless it's an instrument..
