Does anyone know of a device that I can read the current temperature in my coach from anywhere via wifi, maybe with an app on my phone.
Thanks in advance.

Amazon should have a Thermostat that works on the phone - we have them in the Sticks and Bricks at the Beach.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HHE60CE?psc=1

$150 - to know what the temp is ????????? But if you hook it up to the A/C might be great.

BOL,

BOL,

Thanks Busskipper
We have a toy poodle we would like to kennel in the coach when we go places she can't. We can't take the chance that the a/c's may fail due to the thermostat locking up as it has in the past. I thought about using a Nest thermostat for our front straight cool Mach-8 however nest won't work on dc current. So an alert from a wifi temperature reader would be helpful.

We have two small rescue poodles and I've often wondered how to keep them safe and/or quiet should we ever want to leave them in the MH while we're doing anything without them. (Hasn't happened yet.)
Have you thought of a remote wifi camera? Just put a big enough thermometer in the shot and you could check temp and the dog! If it has audio you could even hear the a/c blowing!

THATS why I posted! I knew there was a brilliant mind! Thank you!
I have an extra nest cam!
Problem solved.
Why didn't I think of that?

Reliability counts in these situations....I have a nest cam as well but there have been times the service was down or didn't connect.

The combination of these two units doesn't rely on a cloud service to be working.

You might check out John Canfields page - he used an Ecobee thermostat -http://www.janeandjohn.org/pages/Ecobee1.html
