My front flourescent ceiling light has died. It has 2 18" Thin Lite tubes. All the ones I have seen in Rv stores do not match the one I have. CW has similar model but it has a woodgrain stripe down the middle. I am trying to match the other 2 in the ceiling.
Any suggestions on a source.
Thanks,
Searay

Try www.winnebagoparts.com You don't even need a part number, just tell them your year, make, and model and they'll find it for you.

I recently put an 18 inch Thin Lite in the ceiling of my Itasca, and paid extra for the woodgrain stripe. I just read that the bulbs are standard 110v Home Depot/Lowes available (F15T8). And so far I'm not sure this fixture puts out as much light as the two bulb incandescents that I took out. I'll wait until I take it out somewhere and use it a while to be sure.

Call Thin-lite at 805-987-5021.
They have a flat rate repair fee. Send the lite back with a check for $23.50 and they will ship the repaired fixture back to you within 7 business days

Hello SeaRay:
You can check with any store that sells replacement florescent light bulbs. Home Depot or Lowe's will probably have them as well as other parts for them such as ballast.

Could not find, even on Thin Lite sight, the exact replacement for my flourescents in 2001 Adv. Bought ballast from them for about $20 and fixed it.

CW has both the woodgrain and plain 12 inch and 18 inch Thin-Lite fluorescent lights in their March catalog and on their website. I think I read on the Thin-Lite site that these don't use a ballast, but some kind of electronic circuit. Of course the catalog is screwed up, stating the 12 inch is 30 watts and the 18 inch is 16 watts. How then is a "Dual Tube Replacement" only 8 or 15 watts? And is the $64 installation fee a steal for two wires and four screws? Maybe for a new installation and no existing wiring, but not for a replacement.
