Norcold Refrigerator Not cooling

This is possibly the worst start for a trip we have had in four years. Every switch seems to result in malfunctions. Our Norcold four door fridge is sitting there with internal temp of 58 and am unable to get it lower. Checked the outside back of the fridge....no wires disconnected or broken. Any suggestions?

What are your indications on the control panel if any? Is your unit located in one of the Slide-outs?

We had a problem with ours also, we ended up defrosting and it returned to cooling down to 40 degrees.

You may have a problem with a thermal switch for your fans to cool the coils in back of refer. Your freezer will be ok but box temp will be as you say.

You can pick up a 12V fan and place it in the vent at base of your refer outside the fan will cool down your coils until you can have it looked at some where and still enjoy your vacation.
You have 12V on a connector feeding the refer in your vent acess panel you can also use a 110v fan and place at bottom of vent that can plug into outlet for ice maker but you will have to run your GENERATOR between stops at CG's.

Dumb question maybe, but you do realize it will take pretty much overnight for an RV refrigerator to cool down to "normal" operating temp when first turned on? The freezer will obviously begin cooling long before the main compartment begins to get cool on our 4-door Norcold. Before we started fulltiming, we always tried to get our refrigerator turned on many hours before we expected it to keep food cool.

Thank you so much for the response. We are going to a family reunion in Indiana and hopefully cooler weather where we will off load our food and thoughly defrost our Norcold. Keep your fingers crossed as I dont think Ken could handle anymore disappointments or repairs on this trip!!
