Our air conditioner has been running all day long and the indicated temperature on the T-Stat doesn't seem to be going down any. One thing though, it is comfortable inside the coach.

I took my IR gun and went and shot the side of the motorhome. It registered 154?. No wonder the AC is running all day long.

YOW!! Where are you? And why?

Thought that was the beauty of fulltiming - stay in the cool spots in the summer and head south in the winter.

Hey DriVer,
I just used one of those guns just about 10 minutes ago, only it was on our turbine generator's fuel pump. 170 degrees. Those guns are pretty cool. This is on the job though, not out there in liesureland. Did you fry an egg on the roof?
Yeah, yeah I know...useless information.
Have fun,
AKBrick

Driver, I noticed in Springfield that most motorhomes were buttoned up tight with no airconditioners running. The next morning when I saw the largest contingency of mobility scooters I've ever saw I knew why. Sorry I didn't find you there, but I expected more out of a rally than just a motorhome show. We arrived Wed afternoon and left Thurs. morning. I did find a nice campground on the way home and salvaged the trip for the kiddies.

Well guys tonight we're sitting in Canute, OK right off of the I40 about 50 miles from the land of George Strait, Texas!

It is not only hot here with temps over 95? but the wind speed is approaching 30 mph. With Roxie walking along her tongue is hanging on the pavement and her ears are flapping in the wind! The funniest thing you've ever seen.

Bud! "Gator" says HI!

So much for the pooch, tomorrow it's onward through TX and I hope to stop somewhere close to Albuquerque, NM. Out by 6:30am and in by noon to 1:00pm. What a ride!

Driver, welcome to Oklahoma. George is nice, but you are on the other side of the state from where Garth Brooks lives.

Venture over to the NE corner and we can say howdy.

You are here just in time for some cooler weather. They are telling us it won't break 100 dF on Tuesday.

Ken

The wind started picking up in the late morning. Good thing for us we arrived here around noon and we were off the road. The 30 mph wind was starting to challenge us and we got off the road none too soon for us and so here we are at the Elk City/Clinton KOA. It's a nice place for a stop over. I'm sitting and writing this over their free Wi-Fi.

It doesn't get too much better than this.

Look for Hydrohide full body paint. Paint that sweats water to reduce surface temperatures.

I put the Hydrohide on my front bumper this past spring, and I must say that not only does the bumper stay cooler, but my front tires always seem really clean.
