Sounds like a transfer switch issue.

Check for circuit breakers on your Inverter. Mine has 2 that when tripped will produce similar symptoms to what you are describing. They may be hard to see. Mine are on the side of the unit.

The Winnie # is 800-537-1885. Don't know if it's staffed on the weekends.
If you don't get them, look in the power bay where the shore power line comes in. You're looking for a metal box, roughly 6"x6" and a couple of inches thick. There will be 2 power cables going in (shore & generator power) and one cable coming out going to your breaker box.
The contacts are spring operated and are supposed to switch back to shore power when you shut down the gennie. If you find the box, give a few taps (whacks?) with the handle of a screwdriver or whatever you have.

If it started working after the campground checked the pedestal, it was probably pedestal receptacle related or not likely, the new plug.

What do you mean checked the VOLTS???? Are you talking about the voltage on the pedestal? If so, and it all of sudden started working then there is nothing wrong with your coach. They did not have power to the pedestal.
I would recommend adding, if your coach does not already have one, a Surge Guard of some type. One that actually checks the pedestal power to see if it is there and also if it is wired correctly. The investment of a few hundred bucks now can save you a lot of money in the future.

I highly recommend a nice cool drink, television off, notebook and pencil and highlighter. Then take the 200 page plus owners manual and start reading. Take your time and make notes. I promise you, you will forget some things. There is enough information in that manual to keep you reading for a couple of days.
Highlight things in the book. Test your understanding by asking questions here. These monsters are very complex and even seasoned rvers get buried in the weeks sometimes. I recommend looking at the manual again in a week or so. Then every few months just thumb through it. You will be amazed at how much you missed.

We've been RVing 48 years, first MH was in 1981, 1982 Southwind with 454. About 4 to 5 MPG...anyway I still learn something everyday. Electric commode would not flush yesterday. What..red light on..read the book..says black tank full. Was only 3/4 full by monitor but emptied and it works again.

The smartest teacher I ever had said. "If it doesn't work, read the book". "If it doesn't work, follow it." Boy was he ever right.
