need wiper switch
I have a 2000 Winnebago Journey, I am in desperate need of a wiper switch in the dash. Winnebago part # 091206-04-700 . I have checked manufacturer, and several salvage yards. Checking individual Winn dealers now, but I need some help. Original part was made by Dana part # 250-6623. They no longer have it either. I know my rig is 14 years old, but it is still in great shape, just can't drive when it rains.

You could check with these folks...they may be able to help. I got some wiper parts from them a while ago - easy to deal with...good luck!

National Bus Parts Center shows a "B-250-6623" Wiper Switch. no picture or other info, but maybe that's it?

Thanks to all the good folks here I found one. Called National Bus Parts Center, they didn't have one but referred me to Cleveland Ignition and then to another company. Finally got a picture of what they had, perfect match. So I ordered it through National, who gets it from Cleveland, who gets it from the manufacturer. It will be drop shipped to me. Just another example of the knowledge that is on a site like this.
THANKS again for the help, we got-er-done!!!

In my case, it wasn't knowledge, just Google. Had to get around it thinking it was a phone number...
But you're right, lots of knowledge here.

Yes, I tried google but it thought it was a phone number. Share some more knowledge and tell us how it got it around that.

As I understand it, Google tries to be smart. It uses your whole search phrase to try to determine what you are looking for. If you enter "university" it doesn't know if you want to find a school, a road, a class, a brand of something, or whatever.
Using "250-6623" found a bunch of phone numbers, you saw that. Doing "250-6623 Dana" didn't help. Starting getting stuff for Dana axles. Tried adding "switch" and "wiper", still got a lot of phone numbers and truck stuff. Trucks have Dana axles, switches, and wipers. Next I tried dropping the Dana. Many people describe their trucks include Dana 70 (or whatever) axle. I figured that was misdirecting the search. Focusing in on "wiper switch" found it. That is what I really wanted. I may have quoted "wiper switch" so it looks for that exactly vs. "wiper" and "switch". Still pretty thin results, but did find that site that showed the part number.
Also tried a Google image search. I use those A LOT. I can glance at a picture and determine if it's something I'm after pretty quick. In this case, it didn't work, but definitely something worth trying on other searches.
