I am assuming your headlight lenses are discolored from too much sunlight. If so there are several products that will clear them up for you, Plexus is one that I've used successfully available at your local Harley store but others may be easier to find at your friendly auto store just ask at the counter.

Good luck
.

No outside good, inside foggy, from light bulbs, head lights are on all the time. I clean then up only a little, but only where I can get at it with a pencil eraser. Real smokee in there.

"Smokey" inside sounds like the bulbs are too hot dor the fixture ...original bulbs?

On a '99 the headlights will be from an earlier year ...my '03 are '98 Mercury. If you call Winnie owner relations, OR Lichtsinn Motors in Forest City they can tell you what year and model they are, and Lichtsinn could get new ones for you if you want to go that way.

Mothers sells a headlight restoration kit that works great! I have cleaned all of our headlights, even my TDI jetta that was really fogged. Crystal clear now.

I just can't place those headlights....

I was thinking '99 VW Golf:

Nope.

Tough to tell in google images. Are the outer edges perfectly vertical? (Like they originally mated to a corner light.) I don't think so, that's what made me think of the Golf.
