Need help finding a place to store MH in SW

Good Moring,

DW, MH & me are getting older. We have been on many wonderful MH trips throughout the US and feel like it's time to do some other things. Like a cruise or some forign travel for example We vacation in the MH Feb. & Mar in AZ and are thinking about storeing the rig down there for the other 10 months a year.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good place to store a 36' Journey? Any place in the SW within say 100-200 miles of Sun City AZ would work. We pay $50.00 per month to store in MN. The rig is old enough [2001] to make it pretty much worthless for sale, but still very nice to drive and live in. Sort of like DW & me.

Maybe post this in Motorhome or Discussion section to get broader response. Lots of people never look outside their brand or class. Maybe mods will move it for you.

Good luck and happy holidays.

There are hundreds of storage places in any major place in Arizona, all price ranges. The Casa Grande selection sounds good because of location and it sounds like the person has personal knowledge. In Tucson just by going on line or while you are there this year checking around you can find a lot of places. I suspect the $50. price will leave you with deciding (if) you (want) to leave it there but doesn't hurt to look.

Yuma is a place where prices on about everything is lower and there is an RV park in every block it seems.

Are you looking for:
  1. outdoor fenced but in the sun
  2. outdoor fenced and shaded
  3. indoor garage
There are several of 1. and 3. in Yuma

Thank you all,

As you said I found many places to store the old rig in AZ. Amazing price variations. From $150.00 per month indoors to $45.00 outdoors with no fence. Settled on a place north of PHX for $55.00 per month fenced with secuity. Looks like a good spot that is right on our way to and from PHX and home in MN. BTW we have paid $60.00 per month in MN for years, so this looks like a good deal. Been every where in the US with the old Journey. Now it will become our AZ winter place.

Thanks again,
