Musty Smell in Inside Cabinet

In our 08 Aspect 29H. The cabinet in the dinette slide out. Has a musty smell.
We had the same problem when we had an 01 Adventurer 35'.
All the other cabinets are fine.

Cleaned, aired out. If you stored food or paper plate in these cabinets. Everything tasted and smelled like the cabinet.

There may not be an apparent leak, but you may have a very small leak. You need to do the pressure test on the RV and soap bubble the slide.

Does yours have a slide drain that could be plugged?

Slide Drain???????
It is a flat roof with a slide awning cover.
If it is a defect. Funny I just happen to have it on 2 different MH's built 8 years apart. Two different models.

On ours, the living room slide has a lock in it and a drain that can become plugged. If it does, water can back up into the slide and into a cabinet.

While loading up the MH this week, I pulled out a drawer in the bedroom wardrobe and could smell a musty odor..thought about this post and did some investigation. Found that the wardrobe cabinets were sitting directly above the water/ sewer services in the basement. Checked there and sure enough, that is where the odor is comming from.....the drain hoses were the problem. I guess I am going to have to seal them in a container. The basment area has several openings that make it to the back wall where the cabinet is....
