Micro Minnie 2106 DS Door issue

The door on my 2106DS will not latch from the inside unless I slam it shut. I’ve repositioned the catch plate in and out to no avail. I have had this issue almost since purchase. Has any one the forum had this issue? I’m still under warranty and will go that route if I can’t fix this issue myself. Any suggestions or advise are greatly appreciated.

Hello, I had to fix the screen door due to the cheap latch that pulled out during our first RV trip. Regarding the door, I have found that it does not close as smoothly as I would like it to. It does require some force to ensure it closes properly. I was told this is normal but have nothing to compare it to.
