McClain's RV Superstore Denton

Folks,

I have read many posts talking about dissatisfied customers for repair and warranty work for their coach. Well I thought I would say that I took my coach to McClains's in Denton for warranty work and was quite pleased with the work and timeliness of the work performed. First, they called me routinely to tell me status of the work and if they were waiting for parts. They also returned phone calls (same day) and made sure my questions were answered.

If you are in the North Dallas area, I highly recommend this shop for service.

Thanks

Bill

I had the same experience at McClain's in Rockwall.

I bought two of my three coaches from Mc Clain's Denton. I live within walking distance of the store. I have always been pleased with their service. The only problem is that the word is out and it is sometimes difficult to get an appointment exactly when you want it. They have never failed to work on my coach and remedy any situation but it sometimes is not exactly the schedule I would prefer. I guess that is the price of getting work done at a dealership with a good reputation and does quality work.

I have purchased two motor homes from them. They are not the best place that I have had service performed and they are not the worst.

I bought my coach there, and have had it serviced there several times. The service has been mostly positive (they failed to fix a basement air problem that I had. To pay again to have fixed on the road ...on other occasions they fixed things others had tried and failed to fix). Most recently I wnet in believing my roof needed some re-caulking. After checking it, they told me it was fine ...come back in 6 months for a check up ...no charge!

Service experiences at their Ft Worth and OK City locations were both total disasters.

We're expanding our 2013-2014 buying plan to include the new 2012 Ellipse due to basement air going away, the new chassis design.

Lingering questions about Winnebago quality remain, although most iRV2 owners seem to suggest it is on the upswing.

To even those with successful service, just what did you need done?

For those not happy with McCain's of Fort Worth, do give details: that'd be where ours would end up.

Well I bought my coach from Ft Worth and have had mixed reviews of service at Fort Worth. The Norcold recall was horrible as they took three attempts to complete and I had there service to get it repaired correctly. Additionally, no calls or checks on service repairs and I had to hound them every couple of weeks to get status or have them remember me.

Sales was fine for the coach, but the Denton store has excellent service
