Loft Bed '15 Winnebago Vista

Our Project 2000 Loft Bed has snapped one of the seat belt type straps. We have a call in to Lippert and have a 1x2 holding up that broken corner.

Has this happened to anyone else? How hard is it to repair?

Any help/comments would be beneficial.

Thanks.
