It is beneficial to have a RV level before extending out the slider, makes the refrigerator operate more efficiently, and makes it easier to use the stove. .

Welcome to the forum! It's great to have you join us!

All rigs need to be leveled, but I'm not familiar with yours so can't give you any advice. You're not supposed to run an RV refrigerator unless it's fairly level!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Yes the mh needs to be leveled, but close is usually good enough. I use a round bubble level available at Walmart and other places. I find the counter by the fridge a good place to check. When 90% of the bubble is in the center, I quit.

My unit has hydraulic levelers which make a big difference. The last unit I had did not. Then I had several 3-4 ft long 2x6 boards that I would use to level the unit as needed by placing them under the tires that needed to be raised. Other use leveling blocks.

You didn't say what year your motorhome is. In any case you can go to the Winnebago website and download the owners manual. It's best to get the manual for your year and model because Winnebago has used several leveling systems over the years. The sequence of deploying the slides, and leveling side to side or front to rear is different depending on the system used.

He may not have auto levelers on his unit. I don't.

I have about 5 boxes of Lynx Levelers in the back of the coach. I put the level on the floor by the house entry door, and level accordingly w/ the Lynx Levelers. Its really not a big deal - some folks make more out of it that it needs to be.

I would certainly like auto levelers (though I'd go w/ Bigfoot levelers not those HWH ones), however I do have peace of mind that MY leveling system will never fail me.

Fleetwood 31M

I had a Fleetwood 31M without levels. I used to do as the gentleman above stated. I had three bags of Lynx Level blocks. I would always make sure my spot was reasonably level to make leveling easier. Always level before bumping slides, if you have them. I had a 3ft bar level and would place it on the floor. Then I put the wife in the driver seat. Found it easier for me to read the level and determine the amount of leveling blocks needed. The reason I used the floor was because after the first time leveling, I compared the stove to the floor and they were the same. Since you have duals in the rear, I found it beneficial to have the front low because raising the front is easier than the rear since in it is recommended to place levelers under both tires; not sure why. I did this for two years and then I happened to be going through Iowa and decided to have HWH install a leveling kit on my motorhome. Talk about NICE!! Pull in, auto level, bump slides, and done!!
