Kinked Heater Hose

I read a post on FB where a coach same year and model had the heater hose rub a hole from routing issues, so I checked ours. Good news is there was no rubbing issues. Kinda good news is I finally figured out why my defrosters were never quite good enough.

The hose from the top fitting on the heater core to the switching valve that's mounted top center of the front engine bay was kinked shut. When installed it was at about a 70 degree angle and was hidden behind other hoses and wire bundles.

We would get heat (more like warm) but was never impressed with it, and the defrosters were at times very disappointing. Hopefully this will cure the defroster issues.

Note to manufacturer, use a three foot hose instead of a two foot one.
