Wepurchased a 2001 Winnebago Adventurer 32' with a Workhorse chassis and a pull button park brake. We had problems extending the jacks. When we put the ignition switch in acc the leveler board would not turn on. We ohmed the fuses and all were ok, filled the hydraulic tank. . Nothing. So we took it to an rv repair. . After ohmimg the fuses, filling the park brake resrvoir, he voltage checked the fuses and found the acc/radio 10 amp fuse was bad. After replacing the fuse the jacks both extended and retracted as thry should. . We picked up the mh, brought it home, turned on the house lights by turning on the battery switch by the coach door, put the ignition switch to acc and. . . Nothing! So here we are again. The only yhing we did differently was turn on the house lights. HELP!
Have you re-replaced the fuse in question? Sounds like you have an overloaded circuit, and the RV repair tech quit as soon as he had the levelers working. If the fuse is blown again then you need to identify EVERY thing on that circuit; DO NOT install a larger fuse. Each load on the circuit will have to be tested for a short/overload.

Checked in my HWH paperwork, wiring diagram calls for the ACC circuit to be a 15 amp MAX no word on a minimum required. JMHO. at the very least you need to get the HWH system on a dedicated circuit, so you will know that if/when that fuse blows you can eliminate other systems as the cause of the short/overload.

Yes we did change out the fuse that had blown. . We did some more testing and found another fuse out in the control box this time. . Levelers are working and we are on our way. . Thanks everyon. And you are right. . The repairman found and replaced the faulty fuse but not the cause of it blowing. That is our next quest. .
You may want to leave your engine running while you are extending/retracting the HWH. I know my instructions were to always run the engine with parking brake engaged.
