Has anyone experienced a problem with the gauges all dropping to zero readings and then returning to normal? The sequence is that the seat belt warning sounds and the all the gauges go dead.
Within seconds the gauges return to normal sometimes the fuel and temperature are slower than the tachometer and speedometer. The last few times only the fuel and temperature have failed with the same seat belt warning light and alarm.
Any known recalls on this issue or ideas from the group. Our 2006 Itaska Suncrusier has only 8,000 miles on it; possible computer module issue?

This bring to mind a problem that one of the aircraft manufacturers had many years ago when a plane we returned to have its wiring fixed. Every time the landing gear was lowered, all the toilets flushed. You have a wiring problem.

Assuming you have the Workhorse chassis, YES this is a common problem. Almost all of us have had it happen multiple times. The good news is that it is a harmless "reset" of the cluster believed to be caused by a data overload. Others believe it indicates a poor ground or connection in the two harnesses plug into the back of the cluster, but either way it is not something you should worry about, IMO. There was no recall or fix even when WCC was still alive. You can learn a lot more about your chassis in the Workhorse chassis forum here oniRV2.com.

Since your 06 has so few miles on it, do you know if the Bosch Brake recall applied to yours or if it was completed?

It is a Workhorse chassis and I have no idea if the Bosch recall has been completed. Former owner has not mentioned any recall work completed.

As stated above that's common for the Actia IPs. It happened to mine three or four times in nine years.
About six or so years ago a Workhorse rep at the Winnebago Grand National rally told me there is a fix that requires re-flashing the IP firmware. She offered to do it at the rally (for free) but we couldn't set a time that fit both our schedules.

At that time some WH shops could do the re-flash but since it isn't a sign of something is failing and it doesn't happen often I didn't bother to have it done.

Must be a typical data overload issue I am hoping. You have a Workhorse chassis, but I had the same thing happen to me exactly as you describe, thing is I have a Freightliner Maxum chassis with 450 ISL.

Only happened once so far, kind of spooky going down the road.
