I've had my 2004 Adventurer 37B with HWH levelers, parked in the same spot for over a month &1/2(Arizona). The levelers on the driver's side both come down about 1/8 inch every day. You wouldn't even notice it except for the doors. If left open a couple of inches, they either close or open depending on which way they swing. We have lived in this coach for about 5 months since it was bought new in March of 2004, never noticed it before. No sign of any fluid leak. I called HWH & they said both solenoid valves would be bad. I guess I shouldn't doubt the manufacture but both valves leaking back the same amount everyday? Any thoughts?

HWH should know.
Are they coming down or retracting up? Can't imagine them coming down.

Stay in Arizona.

Dave, as you know the HWH levelers work in pairs to avoid stressing the chassis. Seems that if the last thing you did was raise the driver's side, those 2 jacks would still be connected by the shuttle valve. If one leaked fluid back to the resevour, they both would retract together.

HWH's customer service is excellent and they know how to diagnose a problem. Go with their advice. As complicated as the system looks it is easy to diagnose and repair. If you are out of warranty ask HWH to mail you the valve and they will tell you how to install them, down to the size of wrench needed. If you are under warranty you know from what HWH told you what has to be replaced and have them do it. If they din't understand have them call HWH while you are in their presence.

Alos, HWH has an excellent website with a very good diagnosis procedure.

There are 4 solenoid valves - one for each jack. When operated, the electricity is applied to two valves at a time so that they operate in pairs. Once you take your finger off the button all electricity to the valves is gone and they should all hold their pressure. If two jacks are leaking back, then two solenoid valves are not holding it. It could be something as simple as a loose T handle on the valve. I've had that happen. Just tighten them up by hand. If they don't move, then it's time for some solenoid valves.

As Tom mentioned, HWH is a great company and they will help you out any way they can. Also, while your Winnebago has a 1 year warranty, HWH warrants their system for 3 years. I had a bad HWH slideout solenoid valve that allowed my main slide to come out when driving and my 2003 Suncruiser was out of it's 1 year warranty period. My Itasca dealer replaced the solenoid valve under the 3 year HWH warranty so you should be covered as well.
