My pilots and co-pilots seats are leather.
I have a leather cleaner I have used, but there are little creases and such. They just dont look like the non-sitable portions of the seat.
What do you use to bring back that like new look?
Also got the leather sofa. It sure looks nice but a PITA for actual use. You just gradually slide dowm when in a recliner position. Too slippery.
Wish I had Ultaleather.
Anyone have a similar set up and whats the solution?

I had a leather repair guy come out to my coach here in Tucson. He repaired some scratches, and I had some areas of the leather that just looked dirty. I had used leather cleaner but nothing helped. The leather guy used alcohol to deep clean the leather. He warned me to be careful though as in some cases alcohol can remove the stain in the leather so you should test a small area. We cleaned our leather with alcohol and it looked new when we were done.

Lexol makes a 2 product system for leather. A "Cleaner" is used first. I used a damp sponge to apply the cleaner. Once you buff out the cleaner with a dry cloth you then apply the "Preservative." Once the Preservative dries you then buff that out as well.
I had light beige seats and they needed a lot of cleaning. I was fed up with them so the second rig got cloth seats.
If I get leather again, it'll be the light brown color seats. They won't show every little bit of imperfection.
You can find Lexol products at most retails distributors. Make sure it's the liquid and not the wipes. One bottle has a reddish color and the other is brown.

I would suggest that you treat a small portion on the side of the seat first. My wife cleaned my driver's seat and it was so slick I could hardly sit in it even with the seat belts!

My Honda has leather seats and the best thing I have found to clean them is Windex Multipurpose cleaner.
I follow it up with a leather conditioner but I don't recall the brand name of it.

Be careful with cleaning products on leather. Most do more long-term harm than the benefits of short-term looks. Reliable ole Saddle Soap(glycerin) is best for cleaning and preserving leather, when used per instructions. It does not leave a slick surface like silicone-containing products, doesn't contain anything harmful to leather, pets, or humans; it does leave that rich warm feeling to leather. Water is an enemy of leather, read the back label for contents. Hydrocarbons are another leather enemy.

Are the seats real leather or Ultraleather? Ultraleather is urethane and can be cleaned with mild soap and water. Real leather needs special care. As Ray says, many leather cleaners can do more harm than good.

RCtime, we used good old saddle soap on our leather in the two vehicles that had leather. Did a real nice job.

We don't clean them, we keep them covered with fitted fabric covers. Took them off the old coach and the seats were like new, now have thm on the new coach. Overall, more comfortable than the leather seats, and machine washable. IMHO.

Picked them up at CW, I think they were $45.00 each. Works like a charm, no more hot butt in the warm weather.

I picked up some covers as well from CW and they did not fit my Winnie, so just make sure you keep your receipt.

Hi. I use products from this company and they are great. A little pricey but the company stands behind it's products. The leather product is amazing a leaves the scent of leather again. If you have any questions just give them a call.
