Hood and Hi lite

I have a 2003 Winnie Adventurer and have lived with a clouded Hi lite and a hood that would not work properly. I replaced my Hi loite with a new LED unit ,made a new rubber gasket and it looks great. The hood system was modified to open up , instead of down by utilizing truck cabinet hinges and eliminating the abortion of a design by Winnie.

I'd love to see a photo(s) of that setup. My hinges are stretched and can only be adjusted so much.

Sorry, for not being explicit,it is the high level stop light, I have had the lens discolor and it didn't look very nice. I replaced it with another light and with a little filing of the fiberglass, looks great...

Aha!! Got it! I wonder if ANY Winnebago third brake lights have not faded/changed color?? Mine hasn't turned "foggy" as I would describe some I have seen, but it has faded from red to a very pale red/pink color. Apparently it has red LEDs inside as it does shine bright red when the brakes are applied.

The tail lights on our 05 Itasca 33V are the same as the 2002 Camrays, but trying to change any bulbs due to short wireharness and lousy mounting of the units is a challenge. Looks like WI bought production overruns I guess.

I have issues with my hood also & am interested in the opening up instead of down mod that you have made to the hood.

Waiting for photos.
