'08 Jayco Eagle with Norcold N811. Fridge door fell recently. Bottom hinge hole in plastic door had broken off. We brought it to a Norcold authorized dealer and they did a great repair job of reattaching the piece surrounding it with support metal, pop-riveting, and using JBWeld. They removed the heavy door panel and have ordered new plexiglass panels as replacements, for fridge and freezer.
Norcold recognizes that their door will not hold up and offers a $40 support fix to correct their design flaw. At your cost, of course. This can only be used to help prevent a break, not to fix it if already broken.
HAD WE KNOWN of this possibility we would have not put heavy bottles, etc. in the door pockets, and would have removed the heavy wood panels before.
Another thing we will do now is to tuck a support (rubber shelf liner) under the crack of the door when traveling, to keep the door from bouncing.

try making a little mini ramp out of a piece of nylon to glue on the bottom of the door opening at the edge where the door opens. then when the door closes ,it will ride up the ramp a little and sit on the ramp and take the weight off the door.
