I went down to my local RV dealer and purchased a set of the Fleetwood gutter extensions that were mentioned in the previous post by ISLAPP. However, JC2 was right, my drip rail comes to within 1/4 to 1/2 inch from the end caps on the roof. The end caps overlap the side wall panels and create a lip. It looks like the only way to make them fit is to cut off about an inch of the drip rail and mount the gutter extension over the roof joint that the drip rail covers.

That makes me a little nervous. Anyone else have to do that to make them fit?? Any other ideas??

If not, anyone need a set of gutter extensions

Sarge - I have a new set of those gutter extension that have never been installed because it looked like more trouble than it was worth.

My big problem was dirt from the roof streaking down the driver's window which created a wide swath of 'ugly.'

Finally I bought a package of "J" channel molding at CW and stuck it to the top of the window frame. It stuck well and problem solved!

Yeah, I think that I may be going that way too John. It also kinda annoys me that the front windshield gets all water spotted from dew running off of the roof when ever we are parked near the beach. I have been thinking about putting something like that over the front windshild as well.......

There are some extensions available at LazyDays,
that have a protrusion that fits in the gutter and helps hold them in place. Had to grind a nub that fits in the awning groove off so as to make it fit. Still is mediocre at best. J channel may be the way to go but don't like that either. Manufacturers HELP.

I couldn't get camping world extension to fit either.
Went to Lowes, got a small plastic (barb) "L", that would fit by sliding into the drip channel and slid a small plastic clear hose over the outboard end, down at a 45. I used about 3"
One on all 4 corners, works great, no more streaks

ROB55: I like your idea. Do you re-call what the OD of the "L" is? Does the plastic hose flap in the wind while under way?

Another item that is available at both Lowes and Home Depot is a corner turn or "L" that is made by Wiremold. You can put it into the gutter and then use clear silicon to hold it into place. These are cheap and I have on all four corners of mine. Also have some spares should I "rub" them off with tree leaves.

Homer measure your channel, I just guessed and the barbed "L" snugly fit right into it. Actually 3 or 4" of clear hose is real stiff. I can't even see it underway, and it only cost about $1 each.
