Paul, thank you for the picture page and excellent writeup on how you installed the Gen-Turi. It is very helpful to me regarding dealing with the chrome tip, and the rest of the installation as well.

I purchased an adapter yesterday with a clamp as you did. Your idea of cutting a slot in the adapter for easy installation is an excellent idea, along with the wing nuts. I think I will try this as well.

I am going to take some emery cloth and try to burnish off any sharp edges to minimize the scratching of the chrome tip, but I'm afraid some scratches will be inevitable.
