I had an issue with my living room slide not sealing well at the top on the rear (it was sealing well at the other 3 corners), and I believe I have gotten this adjusted and sealing well thanks to input and photos from members on this forum.

Even before the adjustment, it appeared the entire slide was low as the graphics did not match up to the coach walls. My question is this, should the graphics match and do they match on your coaches? I have a 2005 Adventurer 38R with full body paint. I believe I can adjust the slide up, but just wanted to ask before I even seriously considered it. I would measure the ram assembly on both sides and see if it is parellel to the floor and if the front and back are the same, but just wanted to see what everyone thinks..and if your graphics match.

Thanks

Slides in or out?
Most if not all the winnebago products i've seen when the slides are out the sides of the slides don't match the sidewall graphics, especially with the flat floor slide in the living area.

Hey gt
I'm still following this thread trying to figure this out too. From my understanding, when retracted the box is supported by the glide strips for the interior side and the ram assy for the exterior side. If you have the "tilt" right, then you would need to raise the entire box in a parallel fashion. I know you can make adjustments at the ram, but how about at the glide strips? If you can't adjust both I would think you lose your "tilt" adj by trying to raise the exterior to line up the graphics. Just spit ballin' here.

BK,

I believe you are correct. What I meant to say, and didn't express it very well, is the need to get under the coach and measure to make sure the ram assemblies are level and parellel. If they are, then they will BOTH need to be raised up the same amount at the ram mounting assembly points...... Does that make better sense?

Once I get under the coach again, I will spend quite a bit of time measuring to see what I have before I do anything. One thing for sure, I have learned a LOT about adjusting this slide in the past week.

that is what is so great about this forum. I will share my experience on adjusting the height, but I am not sure if I will get to it on Sunday or not. Going to Georgia Tech for the weekend....but have next weekend off from travel, so will by then for sure.
