Fuel pump

I am brand new here, but I am hoping someone can answer a question for me
My suncruiser has been sitting for about three years with little to no fuel. I have been trying to get it staryed but am not getting any fuel to the carburetor. I have put in about 9 gallons of fuel in but am not sure that is enough. Can someone tell me if that is enough fuel and my pump is shot or do I need more fuel for the pump to pick it up. I want to sell it but need it statted first.
