Fix water damaged wall, or leave alone?

Wondering what the consensus is... I have a small amount of water damage around a window on the inside of my 2009 Access. The window was leaking (which is now fixed) and caused some soft spots around it, couple bulging spots, and a few ripples in the wall covering. It doesn't look bad, but should the wall, or part of it, be replaced so it doesn't get worse? Or should it be fine if left alone with no more leaks? Thanks!!

Recommend you leave it alone for awhile. Put an ambient air fan blowing on the area (purposely avoid using a heater). The goal is to dry out the wall entirely - which may result in some shrinkage of the distorted area. After a month or so, take a look again ...

Thank you! I appreciate the advice. I'm thinking just make sure it stays dry and leave it alone as long as I don't see more damage, or mold.
