Fireplace heater not working

The fireplace is a Classicflame 34HF600GRA, manufactured by Twin Star International.

The flames are working okay, but the heat portion won't come on reliably via the thermostat, some times it does and some times it doesn't.

Since I bought the RV used, I don't have the owners manual and can't find it on line. If anyone has one, is there anything about trouble shooting this problem?

More importantly, I guess, is that if the unit has to come out, has anyone ever done it? Looks to me like another Winnie mystery i.e how'd they get it there and how do they keep it there.
Any help would be appreciated.

I found this one - be careful of the "download" option. They try to get to you add an extension to your browser that you don't want. I'd avoid that.

It seems you can view pages one at a time without issue though:

Here's the company's phone number. Call them. 866-661-1218

Better yet - the info is in your Operators Manual from Winnebago.

Don't have one?

Here it is online:
ttps://winnebagoind.com/resources/manuals/pdfs/Operator2015/15Sunstar.pdf

You'll find the Fireplace info in section 12-6 and the page number approximately 164. Though that may be only what page it's on in my browser.

Here's an important tidbit of info on those pages:

NOTE: Holding the POWER button on the control panel for ten seconds will disable the heater function.

Creative, thanks so much. I was unable to locate the user manual and it really helps. Also, I apologize for not thinking of the Winnie manual, normally it's the first place I go.

I hope to be working on figuring this out in a day or two and will report back. Hoping these simple steps work caus' taking it out doesn't look like a fun option.

Thanks again.

Creative, wanted to let you know that I followed the trouble shooting procedures, which were echoed by a company representative, and it now works like a champ.

With any luck it will stay working this winter when we need it.

Thanks for the help.

fire place

My fire place quit heating . Showed code E-3. Could not reset with remote / or unit.Had CW look at it and its the blower motor covered in dust. They cleaned it and says it works. Never knew you were to clean it inside or how to. Guess it will have to be be removed each year. Remove wood trim and unscrew from cabinet.
