What extra parts or fluids should we keep on hand? Any special tools?

I Keep a set of hand tools , funnel, and fleet charge antifreeze , tire pressure gauge one for over 120 lbs, just to be safe ..

Here are some suggestions: (depending on how far you want to be prepared)

* Serpentine belt other belts if others are on the engine (A must to minimize down time on the road)
* Fuel filter for Cassie and generator (A must to minimize down time
on the road)
* Two stage LP regulator
* I have a spare water pump (if you boondock a lot)
* Deionized water to fill batteries
* Engine oil
* Duct tape
* I also carry : Spare oil filters for engine and generator
Spare air filter for the generator
Spare bulbs for the interior lights
Spare batteries AAA, AA, C, D, 9 volt

That is almost a copy of what I carry. 10-4 on a spare water pump. A friends quit about 200 miles from the nearest city, we were in Yukon Territory. When the water pump fails in that scenario you can't even use the toilet unless you find a stream close enough to carry water.

I carry a gallon of tranny fluid, engine oil, pre mixed coolant, spare fuels filters, spare genny oil filer, air filter and fuel filter, filter wrench, jumpers, an assortment of nuts and bolts, fuses, wire, connectors, multi meter, couple of flashlights, socket set and, cordless drill, few other spare parts, and switches just in case.

On the spare fluids, the owner's manual lists several choices. If I stop by the auto part shop, which ones should I get?

Brand does not matter much. The same type as in your MH does, ie: 15W30 diesel oil, same types for coolant and hyd oil.

To me it depends on where I travel. If I'm heading to Yukon Territory or Alaska I'll carry more items than when I travel the lower 48. I always carry fuel filters and belts. As far as fluids I do carry some but rarely do I need them and it would appear there is always a Walmart, Napa or other store available. As far as special tools I carry a torque muiltiplier wrench and a huge torque wrench that is sufficient for lug nuts but only used them once in many years of travel. I do try to fix anything myself so do carry standard and metric tools and a multimeter and a few assorted connectors.
